The Earth’s crust is constantly shifting; its movement measured by Seismometers around the world. All WJH eighth grade geology students will now be able to collect and analyze this data with Seismograph readers and computers to monitor the activity. Minnesota may feel pretty stable, but students will soon more fully understand the impact that daily geological events are having around the world. Rigorous classroom activities will be created using real data in real time, making science more relevant and interesting to students.
