Since our founding in 1995, HEF has hosted an annual social and fundraising event in late February. Over the years, the event has morphed from a fancy and formal gala in a downtown hotel to a slightly less fancy but still very classy event at a venue in the District. We made adjustments during the pandemic — first virtual and then hybrid — but still succeeded in bringing our community together and reaching our fund-raising objectives. Royal Bash is our most important source of funds for our grants. We also raise funds every year for a “special appeal” jointly chosen by the District and our HEF leadership team.
Most years, the HEF Royal Bash is a “sell-out.” Keep an eye on social media (e-mail, Facebook, Instagram), so you don’t miss out on ticket sales. We hope to see you at a Royal Bash event in the future.
